Come to India and explore the beauty of
Ghats and green nature. Find a local guide sitting near your hotel while
a colorful Bollywood dancers jump in front of a Bengal tiger looks on from the
background. Certainly Taj Mahal's

However, we would like
to show you an India that is not seen very often in travel agencies brochures. This is the great mountain or ghats on the west
coast, with its dazzling symphony of green. Nearly
40 locations in the Western Ghats were recognized by UNESCO as a World
Heritage Site in 2012. Everybody will like them a visit. Now that some locations
of the film Life of Pi have been shot here, this was the
final excuse to pick the best vintage photo of this land of tea plantations and
Monsoon Wedding.
The Western Ghats
or the Sahyādri constitute a mountain range along the
western side of India. In Hindi ghat means “river landing
stairs” or “mountain
pass” and has been extended in its Anglicized plural form (formerly ghauts) to
include the mountains.
The Western Ghats mountain
chain is recognised as one of the world's eight " hottest
hotspots" of biological diversity.
